Do Something Good, Win 100K

Calling all young people under 25 who are tackling a problem in the world. It’s your time to shine. The Do Something Awards is accepting applications for 2011. The big winner will not only get 100k for their cause, but also participate in the live broadcast of the show on VH1.
Last year, the event was hosted by Glee’s Jane Lynch and featured appearances by Megan Fox, the Jonas Brothers and others. Of course, the real star of the night was last year’s grand prize winner, Jessica Posner (pictured above), who founded a school for girls and community center in Africa’s largest slum. In addition to the grand prize, five nominees will be rewarded with a $10,000 community grant.
