Paramore Responds To Ex-Members? Statement: ?It Sucks?

When the Farro brothers quit Paramore, it was initially announced as an amicable split—until the departing founding members dropped a secret-spilling blog post accusing singer Hayley Williams of using the band to build cred for a long-planned solo career. Unsurprisingly, Williams and her remaining bandmates plan to have the last word. More specifically, Paramore will do a live-stream with MTV News, titled The Last Word, on Friday.
While the band has yet to deny any of the Farros’ specifics about who signed what contract or who had separate managers (though they dismiss the charges as “irrelevant”), they are bummed to have their dirty laundry aired so publicly. “There’s been a lot of things said online, especially in the past week, and it sucks,” said Williams. “It hurts, because what we were told was that they weren’t happy, they didn’t want to do this, and you can’t be mad at someone for not feeling something…But then when it really became about all these other things, I was very surprised and kind of felt led on, almost.” Were the Farros right to clean out the closet or are you on Team Hayley?
